We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with League One Volleyball (LOVB) to take Maverick  to the next level.  We will be joining forces, but our leadership, staff, and community remain the same. LOVB provides support for the business side of the club and an abundance of resources and opportunities for the volleyball side. 

League One Volleyball (LOVB, pronounced “love”) is championing the sport of volleyball and every athlete who plays it in unprecedented ways. LOVB is one holistic volleyball ecosystem, from club to pro.  They champion every stage of an athlete’s journey: from introducing and developing young players, to creating opportunities for athletes to play in college and pro. Later this year, LOVB is launching a pro league that will feature some of the very best players in the world, including several of the American gold medalists  from the last Olympics.

How does LOVB benefit our coaches?

As a club with LOVB, we will be able to offer the most comprehensive club volleyball experience, with every level of the club receiving support. Our Club Directors receive administrative help to make their lives easier and help them focus on developing the club. Our coaches receive the opportunity to directly work with and learn from LOVB’s Coach of Coaches, 2x Olympic medalist Courtney Thompson and renowned Emory University Head Coach Jenny McDowell. Our coaches will be provided with the tools to further push and empower our players. Our parents receive the peace of mind knowing that LOVB is partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance and ensures all members of a club are SafeSport certified.
