Maverick COVID-19 Policy and Procedure
The recommendations from the CDC are outlined below.
Quarantine if you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone who has COVID-19, unless you have been fully vaccinated. People who are fully vaccinated do NOT need to quarantine after contact with someone who had COVID-19 unless they have symptoms. However, fully vaccinated people should get tested 5-7 days after their exposure, even if they don’t have symptoms and wear a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until their test result is negative.
With the increase in COVID-19 cases amongst the fully vaccinated and unvaccinated, Maverick will follow the below guidelines.
Quarantine if you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone who has COVID-19, this will apply to fully vaccinated or unvaccinated. Players and staff can have a negative test 5-7 days after exposure if there are no signs or symptoms. A negative test 5-7 days after exposure with no signs and symptoms will enable a player or staff to return to play. Players and staff will not be able to participate in practice, tournaments, team bonding activities or other events affiliated with Maverick during quarantine.
Report a positive case of COVID-19 to your coach.
Your coach will report COVID-19 exposure along with a detailed explanation of the situation to Tonya Thompson
