Although pre-registration is not necessary, it does make the day of tryouts much easier. Once you have completed the online form, please print a copy before you submit it and mail it with the OVR Waiver & Release Form (click here), and a $15 check payable to Maverick Volleyball Club to:

Checks will NOT be cashed unless you actually attend the tryout. All unused checks will be destroyed.

TRYOUT OFFERS/ACCEPTANCES:
Offers will be handed out after tryouts either at the facility or by phone. Once players are notified of their offer, their names will be posted on the website. If they COMMIT to the offer, COMMITTED will be placed next to their name. Their name being listed on the website without the word COMMITTED next to it DOES NOT mean that they are a part of the Maverick program. Waiting lists will be placed on the website (in no particular order). If your athlete’s name is found on the waiting list, we would like for her to attend our 2nd tryout. We may or may not offer her prior to the 2nd tryout date. If your athlete’s name is NOT on the website, we encourage her to also attend our 2nd tryout if she feels as if we did not see her best performance. We do not charge players again to attend the 2nd tryout.
10 DAY RULE:
Tryouts hosted within a 2-week period will have a common acceptance deadline (see the table below). Athletes not originally accepted, but then offered a position, will have 48 hours from the date of the extension of the offer.
