2013 North Coast Power League Information

Note:
The schedule for 13s and 18s NCPL is now available on AES.  Here is the link to get to AES.  www.advancedeventsystems.com  Follow NCPL #1

Links to NCPL#1 and #2 Seeding, Schedules and Results are below.

NCPL Participants:

1.We have added Advanced Event Systems helping to make the League less complicated and open more communication lines to parents. It's important all your teams have REGISTERED with AES.

2. We will continue with last years, the last weekend  format of continuous play. Once you begin you will not leave the facility.  You'll play 4 matches (either in the AM or PM) and the second age group will begin opposite times.

3. To accommodate players wanting to take SATs in Toledo. 18’s, 16’s, and 14’s will play in NCPL#1 from 8am-2pm on  Feb 9th. 17’s, 15’s, and 13’s will play 2:30pm-8:30pm.

NCPL#2 will begin on Jan 26th (18’s and 16’s) from 8am-pm.  17’s and 15’s will play from 2:30pm-8:30pm.

Starting times for the second weekend for both leagues will flip flop.

4.  Remember all pool play matches are 2 sets to 25. The pools should move smoothly and courts will be very close to the proposed starting time. The college coaches attending the league are excited for the AES and the on time format. The final Sunday begins tournament play with the normal 2 out of 3 format determining the top 4 and winner of the league.

* The pool play determines your seeding in the final championship day *

5. NCPL#1 top 4 teams receive a bid to the Power League Championships in Ft Wayne, IN  (June 15& 16). This is not mandatory. We can allow the bid to trickle down. You'll have a month to decide. This is an extremely challenging event and is a great warm-up for Nationals.  Price will be $400 to $500. Power League Championships is ONLY available to 18’s-15’s at this time.

6. Winners of each age group will receive $700, t-shirts, and individual awards. Runner-up will receive a t-shirt.

7. We have changed the format to give 10 All-League awards in each age group. CVA, TVC, and Maverick coaches for their ages and 2 additional coaches from other clubs will choose the 10 All-League players. Coaches from all teams will nominate their top 2 kids at the first coaches meeting. We will award the winners at the beginning of the final match on Championship Sunday. The MVP will be selected by the winning coach in their age division.
