Bio:	Head coach with D1 experience- Mike Sweitzer had been University of Akron's head volleyball coach for 17 seasons, dating to 1991. He had compiled a 281-252 (.527) record, while going 130-143 (.476) in the Mid-American Conference and one time MAC Coach of the Year. Over his 17 year career at Akron, he had the opportunity to help develop 20 All-Conference and 2 All-American players. He has directed the A.C.E. Junior Olympic program since 1997and coached 11 teams to the USA Junior Olympic Nationals. His background as a player and a coach has given him extensive experience in the disciplines of the three major volleyball positions of outside hitter, middle hitter, and setting. Since the libero has become integral part of team success, he has helped develop 6 JO players that have moved on to Division I college programs. Coach Sweitzer has been the director of over 90 camps ranging from 8-18 years old and skill levels of beginner to elite college athletes. Appears to have the knowledge, experience and know-how to get the girls ready for D-1 play.
